Graphic Designer

The Role
This position will include graphic design for websites, multimedia and print media including logos, promotional literature, large format print and POS displays. On a typical project you will be asked to develop visual concepts and designs that reflect the business and creative requirements from a creative strategy.

The role will involve working on a variety of challenging and interesting projects for a wide range of clients.
 
Typical Tasks
  • Develop & frame creative concepts according to creative brief requirements
  • Develop website look and feel for use with our content management system
  • Creation of vector and raster graphics for web, multimedia and print
  • Development of branding rules to maintain consistent client brands
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in design related discipline
  • Proficient to expert in PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks
  • Good knowledge of Quark or InDesign, Flash, HTML, CSS, XHTML
  • Ability to translate business requirements into marketing orientated creative design
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work to a deadline, either independently or as a teamplayer
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High level of creative flair
Bonus Skills
  • Freehand, Illustrator, Javascript, PHP or Perl
Salary
Negotiable depending on skills and experience
